When you come to Island Street, you’re looking specifically for 30 Island St. Because there are several buildings along Island St, use Essex Art Center as your “you’re close” landmark, once you’re on Island Street near the canal/river area, continue toward the newer mid-rise apartment buildings by the Merrimack River/open-space area and look for the main entrance marked with the street number 30. The Community Room is inside 30 Island Street on the first floor (it’s typically labeled from the lobby), and if the front doors are locked when you arrive, call the phone number on the flyer and someone will let you in
